Internal Quality Assurance

Description: The next step into internal quality assurance of assessment. Once you are ready to undertake the role of an IQA, this is the qualification to take.


Qualification title: Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)

Description: To benefit from this qualification you will have started to lead a team of internal quality assurers.


External Quality Assurance

Qualification title: Level 4 Award in Understanding the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)

Description: This qualification will introduce you to the theory and principles of external quality assurance.


Qualification title: Level 4 Award In the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)

Description: Once you have started you career in external quality assurance, this is the qualification to undertake.


Qualification title: Level 4 Certificate in Leading the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)

Description: The QNUK Level 4 Certificate in Leading the external Quality Assurance of Assessment Process and Practice (RQF) is for those starting to lead teams of External Quality Assurers.



Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)

Who is this for? This qualification is for those looking to undertake the role of an internal quality assurer for qualification assessments. Candidates may also already be undertaking he role of an internal quality assurer, but want to formulate these by undertaking this recognised qualification.

Pre-Requisites: This qualification is available to those over 19 years. Learners should be at least a level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent

Progression route: Learners may progress onto the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF)
  • Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)
